MURDOCK COMMUNITY AND CARE SERVICES, INC. SEEKS JUSTICE FOR THE DOMINGUEZ CHANNEL CRISIS
Our team has seen the damage the Dominguez Channel crisis has caused firsthand. We’ve been active in providing free mental health referrals to qualified professionals for victims of this incident and remain a resource for our neighbors in the city of Carson that have been affected. As we wrestle with the aftermath of the Dominguez Channel crisis, we at Murdock Community and Care Services recognize this situation was preventable and could have been resolved sooner with less harm done to the city of Carson physically, mentally, and economically.
For this reason, Founder Brandi Williams-Murdock has chosen McCune Wright Arevalo, LLP, (MWA) to represent her in legal action against the county for their slow and inefficient response while so many suffered. We believe in holding ineffectual organizations responsible for providing lackluster help when it was most needed. Our team hopes this will affect change for the better for our city and improve conditions for the residents who live here.
